A number of crimes occurred inside the Mediterranean Hotel throughout the series run of CSI.
In season 13, audiences would finally see the outside of this fictional location.

The Goal:
Design and build the 3d exterior of an entire Las Vegas resort.

Approach
Along with a modern hotel tower, a Mediterranean-themed lagoon would be incorporated into the grounds and surrounded with visual cues from Greece, Italy, and North Africa.
Care would also be taken to include elements like footbridges, practical light sources, and guest amenities to further the sense of realism.
